Flt Lt Fiona Macintosh is the Thurso Squadron Commander and has been a member of staff on the Squadron for 18 years, firstly as a Civilian Instructor before taking her commission in 1997.  Fiona is a computing lecturer at North Highland College.

Fg Off Stephanie Disbury was a Thurso cadet who left the Squadron to go to University to study Mathematics.  After a number of years in the in the work environment, Stephanie has returned to education to train as a teacher.  This has meant that she has also returned to Highland Wing having previously been an officer with Edinburgh Wing.

 

Stephanie's main roles at the Squadron are the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the BTEC qualifications. 

AWO Paul Macintosh was a Thurso cadet who moved onto the staff of Thurso Squadron in 1984.  Paul trained in Dounreay as an Instrument Technician but has worked off shore for over 18 years.

 

Paul's main roles at the Squadron are Drill & Discipline, Marksmanship, Weapons Training and Clothing Stores. 

CI Donella Boulton was a Thurso cadet who returned to the Squadron after some time in Inverness.  Donella is a Classroom Assistant at Mount Pleasant Nursery and is a Trainer/Assessor with St Andrew's Ambulance.

 

Donella's main roles at the Squadron are Administration and First Aid Training. 

 

CI Mark Boulton moved to Caithness to work at Dounreay and joined the Squadron when his new wife (our Adult Sergeant) dragged him along to help out. 

 

Mark's main role at the Squadron are Health & Safety.
